There is an AB axis in such a way that A is in north and B is in south direction. There is an XY axis in such a way that X is in west and Y is in east direction. AB axis and XY axis intersect at a point Q in such a way that AQ is 30 m, QB is 34 m, QX is 24 m and QY is 48 m. Jon is facing north and starts walking from point A towards left side and covers 15 m, and then again takes a left turn and walks the same distance. Tim starts walking from point Y towards south and covers 24 m, and then after taking a right turn walks another 62 m. Sam is at point X and walks 10 m towards north, and then after taking a right turn continues for 48 m more.

Explanation:

To determine the direction of point X with respect to Jon's starting position, we need to analyze the movements of Jon, Tim, and Sam and their positions.

Movements:
1. Jon starts from point A and walks 15 m towards the left side.
2. Tim starts from point Y and walks 24 m towards the south, takes a right turn, and walks another 62 m.
3. Sam starts from point X and walks 10 m towards the north, takes a right turn, and walks another 48 m.

Positions:
1. Jon's starting position is point A, which is in the north direction.
2. Tim's final position is point Q, where AB and XY axes intersect.
3. Sam's final position is point Q as well.

Analysis:
1. Jon starts from point A and walks towards the left side. Since A is in the north direction, Jon is moving towards the west.
2. Tim starts from point Y and walks towards the south. Y is in the east direction, so Tim is moving towards the south-east.
3. Sam starts from point X and walks towards the north. X is in the west direction, so Sam is moving towards the north-west.

Conclusion:
1. Jon is moving towards the west.
2. Tim is moving towards the south-east.
3. Sam is moving towards the north-west.

Therefore, point X is in the south-west direction with respect to Jon's starting position.

Answer: c) South-west
