Since he scored 96 marks in section A, he must have attempted 24 questions in that section and all should have been right.
So,
Number of questions attempted in section A = 24

Number of questions attempted in section B = 20

Number of questions attempted in section C = 16

And,

Number of correct attempted questions in section A = 24

Number of correct attempted questions in section B = 18

Number of correct attempted questions in section C = 12

Thus, in section C, he will get:
12 × 4 - 4 = 44 marks

Given:
- Total number of questions in each section = 25
- Marks for each correct answer = 4
- Marks for each wrong answer = -1
- No marks for not attempted questions

Let's assume:
- The number of questions attempted in section A = 6x
- The number of questions attempted in section B = 5x
- The number of questions attempted in section C = 4x

Ratio of correct answers:
- Section A:Section B:Section C = 4:3:2

Marks obtained in section A:
- Number of correct answers in section A = 4/9 * 6x = 24x/9
- Number of wrong answers in section A = 6x - 24x/9 = 42x/9
- Total marks obtained in section A = (24x/9 * 4) + (42x/9 * -1) = 96

Simplifying the equation:
- (96x/9) - (42x/9) = 96
- (96x - 42x)/9 = 96
- 54x/9 = 96
- 6x = 96
- x = 16

Marks obtained in section C:
- Number of correct answers in section C = 2/9 * 4x = 8x/9
- Number of wrong answers in section C = 4x - 8x/9 = 36x/9
- Total marks obtained in section C = (8x/9 * 4) + (36x/9 * -1) = 32x/9 - 36x/9 = -4x/9

Calculating the value of x:
- x = 16

Calculating marks obtained in section C:
- Total marks obtained in section C = -4(16)/9 = -64/9 = -7 remainder 5

Since negative marking is not allowed for not attempted questions, the student will get 0 marks in section C. Therefore, the answer is cannot be determined.
