P, Q, and invested in a business. Initial investment of P is 66.66% as...
The initial investment of P is 66.66% of that of Q, which means it is 2/3 of Q's initial investment.
If Q's initial investment is Rs. 12000, then P's initial investment is (2/3) * 12000 = Rs. 8000.

The initial investment of R is 275% more than that of P, which means it is 375% of P's initial investment.
So, R's initial investment is (375/100) * 8000 = Rs. 30000.

After 8 months, P invested 50% more to his investment, which means he invested an additional (50/100) * 8000 = Rs. 4000.
So, P's total investment after 8 months is 8000 + 4000 = Rs. 12000.

Similarly, Q invested 66.66% more to his investment, which means he invested an additional (66.66/100) * 12000 = Rs. 8000.
So, Q's total investment after 8 months is 12000 + 8000 = Rs. 20000.

At the end of the year, R joined them, so the total investment is P's total investment + Q's total investment + R's initial investment = 12000 + 20000 + 30000 = Rs. 62000.

The profit share of P is (12000/62000) * 170000 = Rs. 32838.71 (approx.)
The profit share of Q is (20000/62000) * 170000 = Rs. 54838.71 (approx.)
The profit share of R is (30000/62000) * 170000 = Rs. 82338.71 (approx.)

The difference between the profit share of P and Q is 54838.71 - 32838.71 = Rs. 22000.
The difference between the profit share of Q and R is 82338.71 - 54838.71 = Rs. 27500.

Therefore, the correct option is:
a) M < n="" />

P, Q, and invested in a business. Initial investment of P is 66.66% as...
Ratio of initial investment of P and Q = 2:3
Ratio of initial investment of P and R = 4:15
Ratio of initial investment of P, Q, and R = 4:6:15
Ratio of profit share = (4 x 2 + 1.5 x 4 x 1): (6 x 2 + 5/3 x 6 x 1): (15 x 1)
= 14:22:15
Profit share of P = [14/ (14 + 22 + 15)] x 75% x 1.7 lakhs = Rs. 35000
Profit share of Q = 22/14 x 35000 = Rs. 55000
Profit share of R = 15/14 x 35000 = Rs. 37500
Value of M = 55000 – 35000 = Rs. 20000
Value of N = 2500 + 55000 – 37500 = Rs. 20000
Hence answer is option C
