Additional Rounds or Stages after the Declaration of SBI PO Exam Result
After the declaration of the SBI PO exam result, candidates who have cleared the preliminary and main exams are required to go through additional rounds or stages before final selection. These rounds are conducted to assess the candidates' suitability for the position of Probationary Officer in the State Bank of India. The additional rounds include:
1. Group Exercises (GE) and/or Group Discussion (GD)
Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Exercises (GE) and/or Group Discussion (GD). In this round, candidates are divided into groups and are given a specific topic or situation to discuss. The aim is to assess their communication skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and teamwork.
2. Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates who successfully clear the GE and/or GD round are then called for a Personal Interview (PI). In this round, a panel of experts interviews the candidates to evaluate their overall personality, confidence, knowledge about current affairs, and their fit for the role of a Probationary Officer.
3. Document Verification
Once the PI round is cleared, candidates are required to go through a document verification process. They need to provide all the necessary documents and certificates to prove their eligibility, such as educational qualifications, age proof, category certificates, etc.
4. Medical Examination
Candidates who pass the document verification round are then subjected to a medical examination. This is done to ensure that the selected candidates are physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a Probationary Officer.
5. Final Merit List
Based on the performance in the mains exam, GE/GD, PI, document verification, and medical examination, the final merit list is prepared. Candidates who make it to the merit list are offered the position of Probationary Officer in the State Bank of India.
It is important to note that the selection process may vary from year to year, and the bank reserves the right to change the stages or introduce additional rounds, if required. Candidates should stay updated with the official notifications and guidelines provided by the State Bank of India.
