SBI PO Exam Result: Provision for Tie-Breaking

Introduction
The State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the Probationary Officer (PO) Exam to recruit candidates for the prestigious position of a PO in the bank. In case of a tie in the SBI PO Exam result, the bank has certain provisions for tie-breaking to determine the final selection of candidates.

4. General Awareness: In the rare case that the tie still remains after considering the above sections, the marks obtained in the General Awareness section are taken into consideration. Candidates with higher marks in this section are given preference.

5. Descriptive Test: If all the above sections fail to break the tie, the marks obtained in the Descriptive Test are considered. Candidates with higher marks in this section are given priority.

6. Date of Birth: If there is still a tie after considering all the above criteria, the candidate who is older in age is given preference.

7. Random Selection: In an extremely rare case where all the above criteria fail to break the tie, the bank may resort to a random selection process. This can be done through a computerized draw or any other fair method decided by the bank.
