- Integrated M.E./M.Tech or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2): Candidates in the 4th or 5th year of an integrated degree program or Dual Degree program are eligible.

Age Limit:
There is no age limit to appear for the GATE exam. Candidates of any age can apply and appear for the exam.

Nationality:
Candidates can be of any nationality to appear for the GATE exam. The exam is open to both Indian and international candidates.

Number of Attempts:
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the GATE exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they wish, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
