For all integers n ≥ 3, the nth term in the sequence is the average of the first n − 1
terms in the sequence.
The 3rd term, which is the average of the first 2 terms, is 1+2/2, or 1.5.
The 4th term, which is the average of the first 3 terms, is 1 + 2 + 1.5 / 3, or 1.5
Similarly, the 5th term is 1 + 2 + 1.5 + 1.5 / 4 = 6/4 = 1.5, and the 6th term, is 1+2+1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5/5 = 7.5/5, or 1.5. Since you must give your answer as a fraction, the correct answer is 3/2
