From common explanation, we have
The combined number of boys in 11th and 12th classes = 9x + 6x = 15x
The combined number of girls in 9th and 12th classes = 10x + 35x = 45x

Hence, Option D is correct.
Common explanation:
Let the total students = 100x
The number of girls in the 9th class is 10% of the total number of students in the school.
Girls in the 9th class = 10% of 100x = 10x

The number of girls in 10th class and in 12th class is 80% and 350% of the number of girls in 9th class.
Girls in 10th class = 80% of 10x = 8x
Girls in 12th class = 350% of 10x = 35x
The number of girls in the 11th class is 312.50% of the number of girls in the 10th class.

In the 10th class, there are 80% girls.

The ratio of the number of girls to the number of boys in the 9th class is 2 : 1.

The ratio of the number of boys in the 10th class to that in the 12th class is 1 : 3.

Boys in 11th class = 22x – (2x + 5x + 6x) = 9x

The combined number of boys in 11th and 12th classes as a percentage of the combined number of girls in 9th and 12th classes:

Given information:
- Number of classes: 4 (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)
- Ratio of boys in 10th class to boys in 12th class: 1:3
- Ratio of girls to boys in 9th class: 2:1
- 80% of students in 10th class are girls
- Number of girls in 11th class: 312 (50% of the number of girls in 10th class)
- Number of girls in 10th class and 12th class: 80% and 350% respectively of the number of girls in 9th class
- Number of girls in 9th class is 10% of the total number of students in the school

Step 1: Find the number of girls in each class
Let the number of girls in the 9th class be G9, in the 10th class be G10, and in the 12th class be G12.

From the given information,
G10 = 0.8 * (2/3) * G9 [80% of students in 10th class are girls]
G11 = 312 [Given]
G12 = 3.5 * G9 [350% of the number of girls in 9th class]

Step 2: Find the number of boys in each class
Let the number of boys in the 10th class be B10 and in the 12th class be B12.

From the given information,
B10 = (1/3) * B12 [Ratio of boys in 10th class to boys in 12th class is 1:3]
G10 + B10 = 0.8 * G9 [Number of girls and boys in 10th class is 80% of the number of girls in 9th class]

Step 3: Find the total number of students in each class
Total number of students in each class can be found by adding the number of girls and boys in that class.

Total number of students in the 9th class = G9 + (2/3) * G9 = (5/3) * G9
Total number of students in the 10th class = G10 + B10 = 0.8 * G9 + (1/3) * B12
Total number of students in the 11th class = G11 = 312
Total number of students in the 12th class = G12 + B12 = 3.5 * G9 + B12

Step 4: Find the combined number of boys in 11th and 12th classes
Combined number of boys in 11th and 12th classes = B11 + B12

Step 5: Find the combined number of girls in 9th and 12th classes
Combined number of girls in 9th and 12th classes = G9 + G12

Step 6: Find the required percentage
Required percentage = (Combined number of
