Today, during the morning assembly, our principal made a special announcement. She said that our school will be organizing a solo song competition, and all the students who are interested can participate. I have always loved singing, so I immediately knew that I wanted to give it a try.

After school, I came home and started thinking about what song I should sing. There are so many amazing songs out there, but I wanted to choose something that really showcases my voice. I spent hours listening to different songs and finally settled on a beautiful ballad that I feel a strong connection to. I hope the judges will appreciate my choice.

Once I had chosen the song, I started practicing like crazy. I wanted to make sure that I give my best performance on the day of the competition.
