When a n-type semiconductor is heated number of electrons and holes increase equally.
When a pure semiconductor is heated, its resistance decreases. When the temperature is raised, some covalent bonds in the semiconductor break due to the thermal energy supplied. The breaking of the bond set those electrons free which are engaged in the formation of these bonds. This produces electrons and holes in equal numbers. So, the number of electrons and holes increase equally.
