There is a cluster of colleges with resident tuition of approximately $2,000. Although the nonresident rates for some of these colleges can be as high as $8,000, most cluster between $4,000 and $6,000.
There are two colleges with nonresident tuitions of approximately $12,000. One of these has a resident tuition of about $4,000. The high nonresident rate for this college is far above what the trend line would predict. The other college, with a resident tuition of about $7,500, charges nonresidents less than the trend line would predict.
