The treaty of Vienna was drawn up in 1815 to restore the monarchies. The Treaty of Vienna of 1815, its objective was to undo most of the changes which had come in Europe during the Napoleonic wars.
Some of the steps taken by the treaty of Vienna are as follows:
1. The Bourbon dynasty, which had been deposed during the French revolution, was restored to power. 
2. A series of states were set up on the boundaries of France to prevent French expansion in future.

•••the basic objective behind the treaty of Vienna of 1815 was to undo most of the changes that had come about in Europe like the bourban dynasty which had been deposed during french revolution was restored to power which means that they restored the monarchy while the German confedration of 39 states was left untouched. The main purpose of Treaty of Vienna was to restore the power of Bourbon Dynasty that it had lost during Napoleonic wars.
They also set up many small States on the boundary of France to prevent any further expansion.
