Meeting Time of the Trains

Given Information:
- First train starts from station A at 6 am and reaches station B at 4 pm
- Second train starts from station B at 7 am and reaches station A at 3 pm

Calculating the Time of Travel for Each Train:
- Time taken by the first train: 4 pm - 6 am = 10 hours
- Time taken by the second train: 3 pm - 7 am = 8 hours

Calculating the Relative Speed of the Trains:
- Speed of the first train = Distance / Time = Distance / 10 hours
- Speed of the second train = Distance / 8 hours

Finding the Time of Meeting:
- Let the trains meet x hours after the second train leaves station B
- Distance covered by the first train in x hours = Speed of the first train * x
- Distance covered by the second train in (x - 1) hours = Speed of the second train * (x - 1)
- Since both trains cover the same distance when they meet, we can set up the equation:
Distance covered by the first train = Distance covered by the second train
Speed of the first train * x = Speed of the second train * (x - 1)

Solving for x:
- Distance / 10 * x = Distance / 8 * (x - 1)
- x/10 = (x-1)/8
- 8x = 10x - 10
- 2x = 10
- x = 5

Therefore, the trains will meet 5 hours after the second train leaves station B.
