The answer as follows a,,, the ice takes time to heat up to 0 degree celcius as just because the temperature at which the ice is putting to heat is going to melt the ice so when it is melt then it will start in rising of its temperature. b,,,, same answer as follows that the latent heat is going to melt the ice and boil the water you know that water boils at 100 degree Celsius and from that it starts converting into vapour so at that time you are not able to see the rise in the temperature of water. c,,,, the melting point of ice is at above than 0 degree Celsius and boiling point is at 100 degree Celsius and so that you can first at nearest point not so farther point thus at boiling the process is too long to reach 100 degree Celsius and at melting it take lesser time than boiling to reach above than 0 degree Celsius . thus the correct option is d I prove it very well.
