Goods worth Rs. 750 were purchased from S & Co. but while posting ...
Read the question carefully,it said that wrong debit was given to r&co,and in purchase transaction we debit the purchase account and credit the supplier account, that means we forget to debit 750 of purchase, and at that place we debit the r&co.it means credit side is short by 1500.taht is 750 for the supplier which we forgot, and 750 to acncell out the r and co account,it means the amount shows in credit side of trial balance is 1500 short,so.
43750+1500=45250.
both side of trial balance should be equal,it means debit side is also 45250
