Directions: Study the following information to answer the question that follows.
Five friends, during a particular week, visited a printing shop for taking a print of their sheets for the assignments they had been working on. Each friend visited the shop on a different day than the other between Monday and Friday. Moreover, each friend printed a different number of sheets among 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50. Also, all made a different assignment among Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Ecology and Economics.
It is also known that:
(a) Jacob visited the shop two days after the person (who made an assignment on Economics) visited the shop.
(b) Five friends who visited the shop, in no particular order, were:
* A friend named Neil
* A friend who visited the shop on Monday
* A friend who made an assignment on Biology
* A friend who printed 20 sheets
* A friend who visited the shop on Tuesday
(c) A friend who printed 50 sheets didn't make an assignment on Biology.
(d) Richard, who didn't make an assignment on Ecology, printed 10 sheets more than the friend who went to the shop on Friday.
(e) Harry, who made an assignment on Physics, went to the shop after the friend who made the assignment on Biology.
(f) Patrick, the one who didn't visit the shop on Monday, printed 10 sheets, while the one who went to the shop on Thursday took a copy of 40 sheets.
The difference between the average daily number of sheets printed in the first three days of the week and the last two days of the week is _____. Key in the value.
Correct answer is '0'. Can you explain this answer?

Directions:Study the following information to answer the question that...
Richard made an assignment on Chemistry.
An aspect about each of the five friends is clear from (b). It is evident that a friend who made an assignment on Biology didn't visit the shop on Monday and Tuesday.
Also, from (e), Harry went to the shop after the friend who made the assignment on Biology. Therefore, the friend who made an assignment on Biology would have visited on either Wednesday or Thursday. However, Harry would have visited the shop on either Thursday or Friday.
Among the five friends, as mentioned in (b), Harry can be the only friend who printed 20 sheets. Also, from (f), Harry could not have visited on Thursday (since he printed 20 sheets). Hence, Harry must have went to the shop on Friday.
From (a), Jacob could have visited the shop on either Wednesday or Thursday. By comparing this with five friends in (b), Jacob must be the one who made an assignment on Biology.
In addition to that, Patrick did not visit the shop on Monday as evident from (f). Hence, Patrick must have visited the shop on Tuesday and Richard on Monday.
As per the information given in (d), it can be concluded that Richard must have taken a copy of 10 sheets more than that of Harry (who went to the shop on Friday). Hence, Richard must have printed 30 sheets. Moreover, from (c), Jacob must have taken a copy of 40 sheets. Furthermore, Jacob must have visited the shop on Thursday as evident from (f). Neil must have printed 50 sheets and went to the shop on Wednesday.
Since Jacob went on Thursday, the friend who visited the shop on Tuesday (Patrick) must have made an assignment on Economics (as evident from (a)). Richard did not made the assignment on Ecology (as evident from (d)). Hence, Neil must have made the assignment on Ecology and Richard must have covered the Chemistry.

The table below presents this information:

Average daily number of sheets printed in the first three days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) of the week = (30 + 10 + 50)/3 = 30
Average daily number of sheets printed in the last two days (Thursday, Friday) of the week = (40 + 20)/2 = 30
Therefore, the difference is 0.
