Vapour pressure does not depend on the volume it depends only on temp and nature of liquid vapour pressure is the pressure exerted when rate of condensation = rate of evaporation now rate of evaporation depends on surface area so when volume is increased surface area increases and so the rate of evaporation but rate of condensation depends on density of gas (collisions) so when volume is increased then density decreases and so the rate of condensation by the same factor so no net effect on vapour pressure
