Indian Sub continent :-
A place can be determined as a sub continent only when it belongs to a continent, but is politically or geographically a separate entity and smaller when it is compared to a continent. India is also referred as a sub continent because of its distinct landmass. Even though it might have all the features required to be a continent, but it cannot be called a continent because it is not that big as it should be. India Is not the only part of Indian sub continent, but other SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries - Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan and Nepal - are also the part of Indian Sub Continent. This group, when combined together, forms the Indian Sub Continent.
Afghanistan, China and Myanmar are also neighbouring countries of India but these countries are not considered as part of the Indian Sub Continent.

India, located in South Asia, shares its borders with several countries. Let's explore these countries in detail:

- Located in Central Asia, Afghanistan shares its northwestern border with India.
- It is not considered part of the Indian subcontinent due to its distinct geography, culture, and history.
- Afghanistan has a rugged landscape, characterized by mountains and deserts, which sets it apart from the Indian subcontinent.

- Although China is geographically close to the Indian subcontinent, it is not considered part of it.
- China has its own unique culture, language, and historical background that differentiate it from the Indian subcontinent.
3. Myanmar (Burma):
- Myanmar shares its eastern border with India, specifically the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram.
