In the French revolution, one reason for the revolution was the privilege given to people belonging to first and second estate in which they could not pay any tax.only the third estate have to pay taxes(people in third estates-peasants,church people etc.)when in an assembly, king Louis called the representatives of all the estates,the first and second estate's people were sitting as facing each other whereas the third estate representatives had to stand at the back.their anger came to burst when their demand of 'one man one vote' was denied and they walked out of the assembly held in the tennis court in versails for protest.This started the French revolution.Those representatives then disappeared for years and came out with a new constitution of france.This aimed at limiting the powers of the monarch.THIS WAS JUST FOR FRENCH REVOLUTION
