On 10th december 1948 the United Nation pronounced the Universal declaration of Human Rights. Technically speaking India became a member of UNO in 1945. So possibly thats how Indian Constitution got influenced. The protection of Human rights 1993 says that human rights means rights relating to life , liberty , equality and dignity of the individual guranteed by the constitution.
Also i would like to highlight that Human Rights movement began post independence after the emergency and 42nd amendment Act 1976 ( had both positive and negative , but the negatives were more) lot of restrictions were imposed during Indira Gandhi’s prime ministership on 26th june ,1975.
And that is exactly how the Universal declaration of human rights influenced the indian constitution.
