Ruther Ford's model of an atom
1. There is a positively charged centre in an atom called the nucleus. Nearly all the mass of an atom resides in the nucleus.
2. The electrons revolve around the nucleus in circular paths.
3. The size of the nucleus is very small as compared
to the size of an atom.

Bohr's model of an atom
1. Outside the nucleus the electrons revolve in the well defined circular paths known as shells or orbits.
2. These circular orbits have been designated K,L,M,N and so on.........
3. While revolving in an orbit the energy of electrons remains constant.

Thomson's model of an atom
According to Thomson's model of an atom , an atom is a positive charge fair in which electrons are embedded in it . Since negative and positive charges balance each other , thus an atom as a whole is neutral.
