Solution:

Given data:

Voltage rating (V1) = 5 kV
Frequency (f1) = 25 Hz
Copper loss = 1.4%
Hysteresis loss = 0.6%
Eddy current loss = 0.5%

Now, the transformer is operated at a new voltage rating (V2) = 10 kV and frequency (f2) = 50 Hz.

We know that copper loss is proportional to the square of the current and frequency. Therefore, the percentage copper loss at the new voltage and frequency will be:

% Copper loss = (V1/V2)^2 x (f1/f2) x Copper loss at V1 and f1
% Copper loss = (5/10)^2 x (25/50) x 1.4 = 0.7%

Similarly, hysteresis loss and eddy current loss are proportional to the volume of the core and the square of the frequency. Therefore, the percentage hysteresis loss and eddy current loss at the new voltage and frequency will be:
