Fundamental Research

Fundamental Research, also known as Basic Research, is primarily undertaken to advance and develop new theories. It is centered around the creation of generalizations and the formulation of theories. Applied Research follows a deductive approach, meaning it builds upon existing theories to generate practical solutions or conclusions.
  • For instance, Applied Research can be utilized to derive solutions for specific social or business problems. It is also valuable in identifying social, economic, or political trends that may impact a particular institution or aid in marketing research and evaluation.
