Airports in India: The Airport Authority of India, known as AAI, takes care of all the airports in India. They handle both international and domestic airports. AAI looks after a total of 137 airports in the country. There are 103 domestic airports, 24 international airports, and 10 customs airports in India. AAI’s main job is to build, keep up, improve, and manage all the aviation stuff like airports and related things in India. They do all this work under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

- Among the 137 Indian airports managed by AAI, 103 domestic airports facilitate air travel connectivity within the nation. - To enhance regional connectivity and accessibility, the Government of India has implemented the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme.
