Nomadic Elephant – 2023

• The NOMADIC ELEPHANT-23 is a bilateral cooperative military exercise between Mongolia and India.
• The exercise will take place in Mongolia’s capital city of Ulaanbaatar. 
• It aims to improve military ties between the two forces while also fostering best practices exchange, interoperability, camaraderie, and friendship. 
• The exercise’s main theme will be on UN-mandated counterterrorism operations in hilly terrain.
• Field Training Exercises (FTX) at the platoon level are included in the scope of this activity. 
• India and Mongolia share a dedication to fostering regional cooperation and security. 
• Another important turning point in the two countries’ defence relations will be exercise NOMADIC ELEPHANT-23.

India – Indonesia Economic and Financial Dialogue” (EFD Dialogue)

• The “India-Indonesia Economic and Financial Dialogue” was just launched, according to the Indonesian Finance Minister and the Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs. 
• During the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) summit, the platform for the economic and financial dialogue between India and Indonesia was introduced.
• The EFD Dialogue will strengthen India and Indonesia’s bilateral ties and contribute to the overall economic and financial stability of Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.

Objectives

• The EFD Dialogue aims to improve collaboration on bilateral and international economic and financial issues by bringing together economic policymakers and financial regulators.
• It aims to promote mutual understanding on international issues and strengthen cooperation between the two countries. 

Bhoomi Samman 2023

• The Bhoomi Samman 2023 will be awarded to those who have excelled in completing saturation of the essential elements of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP). 
• The Bhoomi Samman Scheme is a good illustration of cooperative federalism between the federal government and the states based on confidence and participation in the essential elements of computerization and digitization of land records.
• The grading was carried out based on the performance of the Districts as reported by the State/UT Governments and as shown in the Management Information System (MIS) of DILRMP. 
• The 68 District Collectors and the 9 State Secretaries of the aforementioned Districts will each get a Bhoomi Samman in appreciation of their efforts in achieving remarkable performance.
