SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions - Session I & Session II, on the same day and is compulsory for all candidates who qualify in Paper 1. Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section III. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections of Paper-I.

Once you've successfully cleared the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam, the next step is to clear the Tier 2 exam in order to be considered for selection in the SSC CGL. The SSC CGL 2023 exam Tier 2 has four papers consisting of objective type questions. Paper-I: Quantitative Abilities and Paper-II: English Language and Comprehension is compulsory for all the candidates, but Paper-III: Statistics is only required for those applying for the post of Statistical Investigator, and Paper-IV: General Studies (Finance and Economics) is only for those applying for the Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) in C&AG.
