Ans. Light reflection is the process by which light waves bounce off a surface and change direction. When light hits a smooth surface, such as a mirror, it reflects at the same angle at which it hits the surface. This phenomenon allows us to see objects and their images.

5. How does refraction of light occur?
Ans. Refraction of light occurs when light waves pass from one medium to another with a different optical density. As the light waves enter the new medium, they change direction and velocity, causing the light to bend. This change in direction is due to the change in speed of light in different mediums.
