hi in this video we continue discussing
our tools here we will discuss our
select by color tool now the same
options here as you can see not much
difference than our fuzzy select tool in
fact the options are exactly the same
the difference between these two is that
you here you select by color so for
example if I had my fuzzy tool here and
I wanted to select the square I'll click
on it I'll select it but I will not
select this circle here because this
circle is not connected to this square
this is how I can explain it now if I
see
grab my select by color tool let's
deselect and click on that as you can
see even though they are not connected I
managed to select them both now I can
work on them you can also try to select
the yellow the red green so basically
the difference here is again you have
your threshold again you have the shades
of a Cour that you want to affect the
higher option here you affect more
shades of this Cour the lower you affect
less shades of the color but the big
difference is even if these colors these
pixels are not are separated by some
other color this tool can select them so
in some occasions this tool can come
really handy instead of trying to select
these two separately you just click on
them and you have selecting them both at
the same time
