Sage 100 - How To Print a Check In Accounts Payable (formerly MAS 90 / 200) Video Lecture | A detailed Guide to SAGE 100 - Data & Analytics

hello my name is Nadia and I'm from
acute data systems in this tutorial I'm
going to teach you how to print a check
in accounts payable for Sage 100
formerly known as mass 90 a few steps
we'll be covering is using the invoice
payment selection task printing a check
and accounts payable and reviewing
payments and vendor maintenance I will
be using the sage 100 standard 2016
version if you're using an older version
of sage it might look a little different
but the steps will remain the same we're
going to start by going to the tasks
pane expanding the modules tab accounts
payable check printing an electronic
payment and opening the invoice payment
selection task here we're going to click
on the select button and we're going to
highlight the invoice we want to print a
check for today I'm going to select
invoice number one zero six zero two
zero four arrow a property and click OK
now to continue we're going to hit the
printer icon and we're going to hit
preview this will open a report that
allows us to review our selection and
here we can see that yes it is air way
property for invoice one zero six zero
two zero and the amount that will be
paid I'm going to exit out and it'll ask
us if we want to print checks click yes
now the check printing window will
appear and we're going to confirm our
bank code is correct as well as the
check number to be printed you want to
confirm that the checks you have in your
printer is the same as a starting check
number as I have it set to Microsoft
print to PDF I'm going to hit print and
instead of an actual check being printed
it'll ask us to save a PDF on our
desktop I'm going to enter my check
number and hit save here it asks us to
confirm the last check number printed
click OK and it'll ask you to remove
checks from printer click OK again
here it allows to print the check
register we're gonna click yes and hit
preview and it'll give us another review
of the checks we printed today I'm going
to close out of here now we will update
the check register by clicking yes and
our invoice has been printed to review
that our check number has been allocated
to the right invoice we're going to open
the main tab go to vendor maintenance
and look up our vendor airway property
go to the invoices tab and find our
invoice number one zero six zero two
zero if we expand our screen we'll be
able to see that there was a check
printed today for seventeen fifty and we
can verify the check number if you have
