There is an alarming trend of skewed sex ratio against women in India ...
Solution:

The skewed sex ratio against women in India is a serious issue and needs to be addressed immediately. The following steps can be effective in reversing the trend:

(A) Ban on scanners/sonography: The use of scanners/sonography for determining the sex of the foetus has been misused by many people in India to selectively abort female foetuses. Therefore, a complete ban on the use of scanners/sonography on expecting mothers at all health centres can prevent the misuse of this technology.

(B) Incentive scheme: The government can announce a substantial incentive scheme for couples who have at least one girl child. This can encourage people to have girl children and can help in improving the sex ratio.

(C) Awareness campaign: The government can launch a nationwide campaign to create awareness against female foeticide. This can help in educating people about the importance of having girl children and the consequences of female foeticide.

Thus, all three steps can be effective in reversing the trend of skewed sex ratio against women in India. Hence, the correct option is (D) All (A), (B) and (C).

There is an alarming trend of skewed sex ratio against women in India ...
The Answer should be option C,
Only Statement B and C follow.
Statement A doesn't follow because Banning equipment like Scanners/Sonography is not a proper step.
To increase number of women providing an incentive as mentioned is statement B could be a good step.
Also creating awareness against female foeticide as given in statement C could reverse the trend of reducing the number of women in India.
