Smart Cities Mission

The Smart Cities Mission is a flagship program of the Government of India that aims to transform and develop cities into citizen-friendly and sustainable urban centers. It was launched in 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the objective of promoting economic growth and improving the quality of life for urban residents.

Key Objectives:
The Smart Cities Mission has the following key objectives:
