The question consist of two statements, one labeled as PRINCIPLE each ...
B is right because this was not in the mind of Krishna that Laxmi could get shock from this . Krishna cannot be liable for a unforeseen act.In these principle facts questions, we dont have to add anything from our side , even if the principle seems wrong we have to apply it to the fact blindly. Only the laws given in principle have to be kept in mind.

The question consist of two statements, one labeled as PRINCIPLE each ...
B is the answer because a tort was committed at the point where the cyclist died, But Krishna never knew that Lakshmi would get a nervous shock. So no tort was committed at the point where Lakshmi had a nervous shock. Because there was no way that Krishna could have predicted Lakshmi's shock. So Krishna is is only liable for the death of the cyclist not for Lakshmi's nervous shock.
