Vrms = Vdc/π √(3) sin(α/2)

Substituting the given values, we get:

Vrms = 500/π √(3) sin(180/2)

Vrms = 500/π √(3) sin(90)

Vrms = 500/π √(3) × 1

Vrms = 303.13 V

Therefore, the RMS value of the output voltage is 303.13 V.
