Yes !!! its correct...

becoz concave lens is used for correction in myopic eye.
Myopia i.e., near sighted ness is caused due to cornea or/and lens being too curved for the eyeball. So it is corrected using concave lens which is placed in front of myopic eye , moving the image back to retina nd making it clearer.

Far Point in Myopia:
In myopia, or nearsightedness, the far point of a person is closer to the eye than the normal distance of infinity. This means that a myopic person can see nearby objects clearly, but distant objects appear blurred.

Correcting Myopia:
To correct myopia, a lens is used to help the rays of light focus properly on the retina, which is the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. By adjusting the way light enters the eye, the lens can bring the far point of a myopic person back to infinity, allowing them to see distant objects clearly.

Concave Lens:
A concave lens is required to correct myopia. A concave lens is thinner at the center and thicker at the edges, causing light rays to diverge when they pass through it. This divergence helps to reduce the overall power of the lens, allowing it to correct the excessive focusing power of the myopic eye.

Working of the Concave Lens:
When a myopic person wears a concave lens, the lens causes the light entering the eye to diverge before reaching the retina. This divergence counteracts the excessive focusing power of the myopic eye, allowing the light to focus properly on the retina. As a result, the far point of the myopic person is shifted back to infinity, enabling them to see distant objects clearly.

Other Lens Options:
The other options mentioned, such as convex, bifocal, and plane lenses, are not suitable for correcting myopia:

- Convex lenses are thicker in the center and thinner at the edges, causing light rays to converge. These lenses are used to correct hyperopia, or farsightedness, where the far point of a person is beyond infinity.
- Bifocal lenses have two distinct regions, typically with one area for distance vision and another for near vision. They are used to correct presbyopia, a condition that affects the ability to focus on nearby objects as a person ages.
- Plane lenses have a uniform thickness throughout and do not have any refractive power. Therefore, they do not correct any refractive errors and are not suitable for myopia correction.
