Subject scheduling puzzle:

Given information:
- Seven subjects are taught, namely Maths, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, English and Statistics.
- These subjects are taught one day in a week starting from Monday and ending on Sunday.
- Chemistry is taught on Thursday.
- English is neither taught on Tuesday nor on Saturday.
- Only one lecture is held between Chemistry and Botany.
- Zoology is taught after two days of maths lecture.
- Statistics is neither taught on Monday nor Sunday.
- Botany is not taught on the immediate next day on which Zoology is taught.
- Physics is taught on Monday.

To find: On which of the following days is Physics taught?

Solution:
- Using the given information, we can create a schedule table with the subjects and the days they are taught.
- Let's start by placing Chemistry on Thursday and Physics on Monday.
- Based on the given information, we know that Zoology is taught two days after Maths, and Botany is not taught on the immediate next day of Zoology.
- So, we can place Maths on Monday and Zoology on Wednesday, which means Botany is taught on Friday.
- Now, we know that only one lecture is held between Chemistry and Botany, so we can place Statistics on Tuesday.
- And we also know that English is not taught on Tuesday or Saturday, so we can place it on Friday or Sunday.
- However, we already have Botany on Friday, so English must be taught on Sunday.
- Finally, we know that Statistics is not taught on Monday or Sunday, so it must be taught on Wednesday.

Schedule table:

Day | Subject
----|--------
Mon | Physics
Tue | Statistics
Wed | Zoology
Thu | Chemistry
Fri | Botany
Sat | English
Sun | Maths

Answer: Physics is taught on Monday. (Option A)
