In the following question, a Statement of Assertion (A) is given followed by a corresponding Reason (R) just below it. Read the Statements carefully and mark the correct answer-
Assertion(A): It is easier to start a car engine on a warm day than cold day.
Reason(R): Internal energy of the engine is high on a warm day than a cold day .
  • a)
    Both Assertion and Reason are true and Reason is the correct explanation of assertion.
  • b)
    Both Assertion and Reason are true and Reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.
  • c)
    Assertion is true but Reason is false.

In the following question, a Statement of Assertion (A) is given follo...
It's easy to start car engine in warm days because when temperature increases we all know resistance decreases and when resistance decreases current increases and more supply of current by battery helps to start engine easily,..

And second statement is right but it is not the reason because when temperature increases yes its true that internal energy increases and its higher in warm days but there is no connection between easyness engine starting process and internal energy,

Hope, this is helpfull

Explanation:

Assertion(A):
- The assertion states that it is easier to start a car engine on a warm day than a cold day.

Reason(R):
- The reason given is that the internal energy of the engine is higher on a warm day than on a cold day.

Explanation of Correct Answer:
- The assertion is true because warm temperatures help the engine oil flow more easily, making it easier for the engine parts to move and start the engine.
- However, the reason is false because the internal energy of the engine is not directly related to the temperature outside. Internal energy depends on various factors such as fuel combustion, mechanical work, and heat transfer within the engine.
- Therefore, the correct answer is option 'C' - Assertion is true but Reason is false.
