Types of Citizenship

Citizenship is the status of being a member of a particular country and enjoying the rights and privileges that come with it. There are different types of citizenship, some of which are:

1. Single Citizenship
Single citizenship means that an individual is a citizen of only one country. This is the most common type of citizenship and is recognized by most countries.

2. Dual Citizenship
Dual citizenship means that an individual is a citizen of two countries at the same time. This means that the individual can have two passports and can enjoy the rights and privileges of both countries.

3. Multiple Citizenship
Multiple citizenship means that an individual is a citizen of more than two countries. This is a rare type of citizenship and is recognized by only a few countries.

4. Non-Resident Citizenship
Non-resident citizenship is not a recognized type of citizenship. It is a term used to refer to individuals who have citizenship of a country but do not reside in that country.

Incorrect Type of Citizenship

The incorrect type of citizenship is non-resident citizenship. This is not a recognized type of citizenship and is not recognized by any country. Individuals who have citizenship of a country but do not reside in that country are still considered citizens of that country and are subject to its laws and regulations. Therefore, non-resident citizenship is not a valid type of citizenship.
