then,
m+n=-a;---1
and
m×n=b---2
from ---2
we know , negative × negative=positive (b=m×n).
postive × positive =positive (b=m×n).
from ---1
a can be negative ,if and only if both are negative
or either one is negative.
in both we see;
both negative as common.
HENCE BOTH THE ROOTS ARE NEGATIVE
then,

and
m×n=b---2
from ---2
we know , negative × negative=positive (b=m×n).
postive × positive =positive (b=m×n).
from ---1
a can be negative ,if and only if both are negative
or either one is negative.
in both we see;
