Ritesh walks from his home and moves 7 km towards the north. He turns ...
Degrees to his right and walks 5 km towards the east. He turns 90 degrees to his right again and walks 7 km towards the south. Finally, he turns 90 degrees to his right and walks 2 km towards the west.

What is Ritesh's final position relative to his starting point?

To solve this problem, we can draw a diagram to visualize Ritesh's movements:

N
| 7 km
| <---- ritesh's="" starting="">
W--+--->E
| 5 km
S 7 km

After walking 7 km towards the north, Ritesh is located 7 km north of his starting point.

When he turns 90 degrees to his right and walks 5 km towards the east, he moves horizontally from his previous position. This means his vertical position remains the same, but he is 5 km to the right of his previous position.

Next, he turns 90 degrees to his right again and walks 7 km towards the south. This brings him back to his starting latitude, but he is now 7 km to the east of his starting longitude.

Finally, he turns 90 degrees to his right and walks 2 km towards the west, which brings him 2 km to the west of his previous position.

Therefore, Ritesh's final position relative to his starting point is:

N
W--+---->E
S

He is located 7 km north and 5 km west of his starting point.
