Pan region empire is a nation which influences other nations actions completely or partially , generally a powerful country which has a sphere of influence, might be political or economical or cultural or ideological. Other nations in that sphere may act accordingly or completely depend on the powerful nation’s lead. History has seen the rise and fall of many Pan regional empires influencing in various aspects.
Examples being:
the British empire almost had control over the world political and economical situations during the colonial era.
During the WW2 the world was divided into 3 spheres USA which controlled both north and south Americas , Germany controlling Europe and Africa and Japan controlling the pacific and east Asia.
After WW2 there were only two such nations being USA and soviet union, but after the disintegration of the latter , USA had a global hegemony.
Apart from it, there are nations that do it on a much smaller scale like Russia with eastern European and central Asian nations , Germany as the leader of the EU , China with adjoining countries( trade and politics) and INDIA in the sub-continent.
