rutherfords model of an atom doesnt explain the stability of atom according to maxwell theory of physics an accelerated charged particle loses its energy continuosly and electron is negative charged and in circular motion so electrons r accrlerated charged particle therefore it should emmit its energy continuosly and if it happens then electrons r attracted more strongly towards the nucleus of atom and come closer and closer to the nucleus and finally falls into the nucleus as a result atom should collapse but this does not happen at all becoz atoms are stable. i hope u understand first of all focus on the maxwell theory of physics and then compare it with the rutherfords model of atomthen i can say u that u will understand it well definitely
