Ploidy of Various Cells in Plants

Filiform Apparatus and Synergids
The filiform apparatus and synergids are found in the female gametophyte, also known as the embryo sac, of angiosperms. Both of these cells are haploid, meaning they have a ploidy level of n. The filiform apparatus is a group of delicate hairs that protrude from the synergid cells and help to guide the pollen tube to the egg cell for fertilization.

Polar Nuclei
The polar nuclei, also known as the secondary nucleus, are also found in the female gametophyte of angiosperms. They are diploid, meaning they have a ploidy level of 2n. During double fertilization, one sperm cell fuses with the egg cell to form the zygote, while the other sperm cell fuses with the polar nuclei to form the endosperm, which provides nutrients for the developing embryo.

Antipodals
The antipodals are three cells found at the opposite end of the female gametophyte from the egg cell. They are also haploid, with a ploidy level of n. The function of the antipodals is not well understood, but they may play a role in nourishing the developing embryo.

Nucellus
The nucellus is the central part of the ovule, which contains the female gametophyte. It is diploid, with a ploidy level of 2n. The nucellus provides nutrients for the developing embryo and also forms the seed coat.

Funicle Cell
The funicle cell is a single cell found at the base of the ovule, which attaches the ovule to the placenta of the ovary. It is also haploid, with a ploidy level of n. The funicle cell provides nutrients to the developing ovule and helps to transport nutrients and hormones between the ovule and the rest of the plant.
