The longitudinal extension of India is from 68*7'E to 97*25'E. there is around a difference between of around 30 degrees between the the westernmost and Eastern most part of our country. between two longitudes there is a time difference of 4 minutes. in India there lies, thirty longitudes .That's why the difference between the westernmost and Eastern part of country is around 2 hours.
