Consider the following statements about the Consumer Protection Act 2...
Under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (COPRA), a three-tier quasi-judicial machinery has been established at the district, state, and national levels for the redressal of consumer disputes. Additionally, if a case is dismissed at the district level court, the consumer has the right to appeal in both state and national level courts. Both of these statements are correct.

1. Three-tier quasi-judicial machinery:
The COPRA aims to provide a robust mechanism for the resolution of consumer disputes. To achieve this, it establishes a three-tier quasi-judicial machinery at the district, state, and national levels. This machinery consists of Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions (CDRCs) at each level.

- District level: At the district level, the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (DCDRC) is established. It handles consumer complaints involving claims up to Rs.1 crore.
- State level: At the state level, the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (SCDRC) is set up. It deals with consumer disputes where the claim amount exceeds Rs.1 crore but does not exceed Rs.10 crore.
- National level: At the national level, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) is established. It has jurisdiction over consumer disputes involving claims exceeding Rs.10 crore.

2. Appeal process:
If a consumer is dissatisfied with the decision of the district level court (DCDRC), they have the right to appeal the decision. The appeal can be made in both state level courts (SCDRC) and national level courts (NCDRC). This ensures that consumers have multiple avenues for seeking redressal if they are not satisfied with the outcome of their case at the district level.

- Appeal to state level courts: If a case is dismissed at the district level court, the consumer can appeal to the state level court within 30 days from the date of the order. The state level court will then review the case and make a decision based on its merits.
- Appeal to national level courts: If the consumer is still dissatisfied with the decision of the state level court, they have the option to appeal to the national level court within 30 days from the date of the order. The national level court will further review the case and provide a final decision.

In conclusion, the Consumer Protection Act 2019 establishes a three-tier quasi-judicial machinery for the redressal of consumer disputes, and consumers have the right to appeal to higher courts if their cases are dismissed at the district level court. Both statements are correct.
