You can alter the output by modifying the inputs namely air , food , water and thoughts . you can get any desired output by altering these inputs in right praportion. For avoiding sleep you simply need to take inputs for that purpose.

If u get sleep while ur in class just remember ur goal and responsibilities. Then u won't get sleep.
If ur not interested in ur work or reading subject then just stop the work or close the book. Do the work or read the subject which u like. Then u won't feel bore u won't get sleep.

Take a sip of coffee, eat something by preparing it by yourself or listen to your favourite music, it will help you to relax and have a good start again. It is actually a miscellaneous question.I too have the same problem.advicing and giving tips is actually easy but while doing it is tough.just divert ur mind to something which relaxes you for a minutes and then concentrate in ur studies.I will hear or sing a song on such moments to keep my mind alert.
