Given Information:

  • There are six persons: Sameer, Manish, Keshav, Ramesh, Harish, and Deepak.

  • There are six wives: Shalini, Monika, Kareena, Ritika, Heena, and Divya.

  • Exactly two couples traveled in one car.

  • Husband's name cannot start with the same alphabet as his wife's name.

  • Keshav is not married to Shalini and Ramesh is not married to Divya.

  • Manish is married to Kareena and Harish is married to Monika.

  • Manish and Heena traveled in the same car.

  • Ramesh and Divya traveled in the same car.

  • Sameer and Monika traveled in the same car.

Solution:

Let's analyze the given information step by step to find out who traveled in the same car as Manish and Heena.

Step 1: Identify the Couples

From the given information, we can determine the couples as follows:

  • Manish is married to Kareena.

  • Harish is married to Monika.

Step 2: Determine the Remaining Couples

We know the couples of Manish and Harish. So, the remaining couples are:

  • Keshav and Shalini

  • Ramesh and Divya

Step 3: Determine the Car Combinations

From the given information, we can determine the car combinations as follows:

  • Sameer and Monika traveled in the same car.

  • Manish and Heena traveled in the same car.

  • Ramesh and Divya traveled in the same car.

Step 4: Determine the Remaining Car Combinations

Since two couples traveled in one car, and we already know that Sameer and Monika, and Ramesh and Divya traveled together, the remaining couple must travel in a separate car. Therefore, the remaining car combination is:

  • Keshav and Shalini

Step 5: Determine the Car Combination for Manish and Heena

From the given information, we can see that Manish and Heena traveled in the same car. So, the car combination for Manish and Heena is:

  • Deepak and Kareena

Therefore, Manish and Heena traveled in the same car as Deepak and Kareena. The correct answer is option 'A' - Deepak and Kareena.
