Issues Farm Labourers Face in Terms of Unemployment
Farm labourers are the backbone of the agricultural sector who work in farms and fields to plant, cultivate and harvest crops. Unfortunately, these labourers face several issues in terms of unemployment that affect their livelihood. Here are three major issues that farm labourers face in terms of unemployment:
Lack of Job Security
Farm labourers work on a seasonal basis, and their employment depends on the availability of work. If there is a drought or a flood, the crops may fail, and the labourers may lose their jobs. Moreover, if the farmers do not have enough money to hire labourers, they may opt for mechanization, which means that the labourers will lose their jobs. This lack of job security makes it difficult for farm labourers to plan their lives and support their families.
Low Wages
Farm labourers are often paid low wages, which is not enough to meet their basic needs. They work long hours in difficult conditions, but do not earn enough to provide for their families. The low wages also make it difficult for them to save money or invest in their education or training, which could help them find better-paying jobs in the future.
Lack of Education and Training
Most farm labourers are uneducated or have only a basic education, which limits their opportunities for employment. They may not have the skills or knowledge to work in other sectors, which means that they are dependent on the agricultural sector for their livelihood. Moreover, they may not have access to training or education programs that could help them acquire new skills and improve their employability.
Conclusion
In conclusion, farm labourers face several issues in terms of unemployment, including lack of job security, low wages, and lack of education and training. These issues are not only detrimental to the livelihood of the labourers but also affect the agricultural sector and the economy as a whole. Therefore, it is important to address these issues and provide support to the farm labourers through education, training, and social security measures.

Farm labourers face a lot of issues in terms of unemployment because for example if a businessman or a entrepreneur have a large farm and he have hired farmers to work over the field so the farmers getemployed only for a certain two or three months because for growing any crop the farmers had to do sowing labelling flowing the field and after all this is done all the workers who are working over the field are not required and thus only one or two workers are required for the irrigation process in the crop fields so the rest of the labourers get Unemployed and after some months when the crop is grown then again the farmers get employed as they have to do harvesting or threshing as well.
some of the issues that farm labourers face in terms of unemployment are
first one is that the farmers had less knowledge or they are uneducated so they are not talented to put less efforts in the fields and get more output.
the second one can be the farmers are so talented and skilled that they know how to put less efforts and get high outputs but the farmer is not getting any field because of the high population of farmers aur because of the high competition level in his or her village or town.
third reason could be that the farmer had got a field to work upon but due to disguised unemployment he had been removed by the head or the entrepreneur of the field and so he is not able to get employed and remains unemployed.
