You don’t have to quit job for joining a coaching. if you want to take up a coaching then select one which suits your timing of availability, may be the weekends.
Further, do not join full GS coaching of any institute. Go for selective subject-wise coaching. Why i suggest this is because after attending say 10- 15 percent classes of any subject, you get the feel of that subject, and if you have a right common sense, then by analysing the past years' questions you can make out the way it is required to study that particular subject.
During the period of the preparation you will also realise that some subjects such as polity are better done by self study rather than being 'coached' by someone. This can be managed even while doing the job. However, do enrol in a test series for both CSAT and mains.
