1) S is sitting seventh to the right of P.

(As it is a circular arrangement, we can randomly select a seat for P and then place S accordingly.)

2) Only one person is sitting between P and U.

3) U is sitting ninth to the left of D.

(U can be either second to the right of P or the second to the left of P. Let us assume that U is second to the left of P then in that case, D would be to the sitting in S's place. It means that our assumption was wrong. Hence, U is sitting second to the right of P and D is sitting fourth to the right of S.)

4) J is sitting eighth to the left of U.

(Implies, J is sitting sixth to the left of P i.e. five people are sitting between P and J.)

5) Five people are sitting between N and J.

(Implies, N is sitting sixth to the left of J because P is sitting sixth to the right of J.)

6) Two people are sitting between N and O.

(O is sitting either third to the left of N or third to the right of N.)

7) R is sitting eighth to the right of O.

8) J is sitting next to R.

9) Five people are sitting between N and D.

(If we place O third to the right of N then R would not be sitting next to J. Hence, O is sitting third to the left of N and R is sitting to the immediate left of J. Also, it means that two people are sitting between N and O and two people are sitting between O ad D.)
