    Given:


    Power rating of Generator 1, P1 = 200 MW


    Power rating of Generator 2, P2 = 400 MW


    Droop characteristics of Governor 1, R1 = 4%


    Droop characteristics of Governor 2, R2 = 5%


    At no load and free governor operation, both generators will share the load equally i.e. P1 = P2 = 300 MW.


    The system frequency at this load can be calculated using the following formula:


    f = f0 - (ΔP/Δf)*(1/P1 + 1/P2)


    where,


    f0 = 50 Hz (system frequency at no load)


    ΔP = P1 - P2 = -200 MW (negative sign indicates that P2 is greater than P1)


    Δf = (R1*P1 + R2*P2)/(2*π*f0*(P1+P2))


    Substituting the given values in the above formula, we get:


    Δf = (0.04*200 + 0.05*400)/(2*π*50*(200+400)) = 0.0022 Hz


    Substituting the value of ΔP and Δf in the formula for system frequency, we get:


    f = 50 - (0.0022)*(1/200 + 1/400) = 47.3 Hz
